Aren't they cute!

On the weekend of May 5th my Father's spiritual Father passed on. So while Mom, Dad, and Ruby went to Leroy Davis' funeral, I babysat the kids and took them to Son'spot and the beach. It was still cold and windy so we just played on the play equipment.

If a picture is worth a thousand words....

Lately we have really been enjoying our feathered friends. We have been watching hummingbirds and Gold Finches at the feeders and the Carolina Wren laying eggs and raising her young. We have also seen Bluejays, an Indigo Bunting, Chipping Sparrows, a Wood Thrush, Cardinals, Woodpeckers, a Brown Headed Cow Bird, Mourning Doves, and Crows. At the beach we had the priviledge of watching an Oyster Catcher doing what he does best. We have also enjoyed watching butterflies come to our lilac bush. How great is His creation!

If 1 picture is worth a thousand words than I must be running out of breath!

Strawberry Season

Here are some pictures of us Strawberry picking earlier this month. I don't know how many pounds we picked! We went 3 times. We made jelly and pies and jelly rolls. We ate them plain and gave away a lot, too.

It's been awhile....

Again we apologize (to anyone actually reading this blog) that we haven't updated it in awhile. We are so busy living life that we haven't had time to write about it!

God is so good to us! Why He loves me I'll never know but He does and that is enough for me!
