The "chopper"

Jonathan was so excited today when he realized he could ride big brother's "chopper"! He came running inside saying "take a picture and put it on facebook and the blog!"
So, that's what I did.
It seems like just yesterday I posted that he had learned to ride a two wheeler.



Everyone's growing up.... does that mean I'm growing old??

Hard Core Homeschoolers

We went to Colonial Williamsburg in March. It was cold, wet, and yucky. Needless to say, it wasn't crowded. We were some of the only people on the bus. It did snow later, which was absolutely gorgeous. And of course meant my camera would go and die on me... arrgghh.

1st Beach Day of the Year!

 

For Ages 8 and Up

Othello is one of those infuriatingly easy to learn games. As the box states "A minute to learn... a lifetime to master". A friend taught me how to play ( he, of course, won)so Tin wanted to learn. I didn't know if he would really understand it but I showed him how and we played during breakfast. HE WON! Little 4 year old Jonathan not only understood it completely but beat me too!
Yeah, needless to say he really likes the game now. I'm not so sure if I like it any more.


I did beat Sophie after that.

No, baby hasn't come yet but we do have some furry and feathered new comers.

Our new baby chicks. We already have some grown chickens and they have just started laying 4 (yup, 4) eggs a day!
